Guild info (Read before applying)

The guild itself consists of a core of mature and dedicated raiders who have been raiding together in various guilds over the years since vanilla. Viye is a happy place, we have fun when we raid together but most importantly, we play for progress. Our goal is and has always been to experience as much of the endgame content as possible. We have always managed to do so successfully and we are not planning to stop that anytime soon.

We do not want to tag ourselves as hardcore, many of the players in the guild (including the whole core) are grown-up persons with full time jobs and we feel that that is reflected in the way we raid. However, saying that we are casual would be an understatement. If there is anything in this part of the information that we would want you to pay special attention tobefore applying, that is it. This simply because we expect our members to share this approach to raiding. If you don't, Viye is most certainly not the place for you. Keep in mind that the guild consists of mature people, more specifically people at or above the age of 20. This is reflected in the community (Viye as a guild) and all that it encompasses. Because of this, we are forced to expect our applicants to act accordingly. This does not mean that we wont accept players under the age of 20 however, we expect everyone to behave appropriately. It is all about the attitude. We are no freaks of nature ourselves, it is inhuman to be happy and cheeky 24/7. We wont kick anyone because he or she is having a bad day or a rough time.

To illustrate this point more clearly, here is a list of things that should by any means be avoided within the community, meaning NOT only during raids:

-Whine about whiping
-Whine about not being invited to raids (We will invite you when WE need you)
-Comment on not getting loot (We trust our members to trust US to always be fair with the loot system)
-Don't come to raids fully prepared (This includes flasks, pots, food and not to mention gems/enchants)
-Don't show up to raids without having consulted an officer or classleader
-Don't read up about tactics for boss encounters that you are not 100% sure of
-Spam the raidchat (The only thing we use the raidchat for is the loot and officer/CL notes)

If these guidelines are followed and we see that you perform well in the raids we take you to, your chances of passing the trial period are pretty good. Note that a trial period will last between 2-4 weeks, sometimes even longer. If you get a trial period with us, the decision of making you a member will be made by the officers and it will be based on your accumulated performance in all aspects starting from the day you get your invite.

Last minute tips,
Take your time to write your application since a thorough and nicely written application will greatly increase Your chances of getting a trial period with us. Apart from that, good luck and we are looking forward to seeing you in-game
